Volunteers Ages 16 or 17
Tip to remember:
You must always bring a minor consent form signed by your parent or guardian with you to every project otherwise you will not be eligible to volunteer. Turn your form in to the Project Leader upon your arrival.
Getting Started:
- Before attending any of our service projects, all of our volunteers must first register as a HOBA volunteer by creating an online account.
- Your active account will allow you to sign up for any open opportunity on our Project Calendar. The green dot beside a project name indicates an opening. To find age-appropriate projects, you can filter by "project attributes" on the drop-down menu for Youth, 16 and Older from our Project Calendar.

Youth Groups and High School Students
For groups of youth volunteers ages 17 and under, we require that 1 adult be present to accompany every 4 youth in attendance at a project. Please Contact Us to discuss the feasibility of your group volunteering at a particular project.
